The Barnett Shale formation in the Fort Worth Basin of north Texas is the foundation for the company's growth. The company has leased approximately 162,000 net acres within the company's defined core fairway in this world-class basin. With approximately 40% of the acreage currently developed, the company expects to achieve continued growth in production and reserves in Texas, where we believe approximately 5 trillion cubic feet of total potential resources have been identified.

The company also has approximately 78,00 net acres in the Greater Green River Basin of northern Colorado and southern Wyoming, and 130,00 net acres in the southern Alberta Bakken Basin of northwest Montana, where exploratory efforts are currently under way.
