The Barnett Shale formation in the Fort Worth basin of north Texas is the foundation for the company's growth. The company has leased approximately 130,000 net acres within the company's defined core fairway in this world-class basin. With approximately 60% of the acreage currently held by production, the company expects to achieve continued growth in production and reserves in Texas, where we believe approximately 1-2 trillion cubic feet of total potential resources have been identified.

The company also has approximately 167,000 net acres in the Sand Wash Basin of northwestern Colorado and southern Wyoming, approximately 126,000 net acres in the Delaware and Midland basins of West Texas and 170,000 net acres in the southern Alberta Basin of northwest Montana.
