In the U.S., Quicksilver Resources’ operations are located Texas and the Rocky Mountain Region.  The Barnett Shale formation in the Fort Worth Basin of north Texas is the foundation for the company’s growth.  The company has leased approximately 263,000 net acres in this world-class basin, including more than 173,000 net acres within the company’s defined core fairway.  With less than 20% of the acreage in the core fairway currently developed, the company expects to achieve continued growth in production and reserves in Texas, where more than 4 trillion cubic feet of additional potential resources have been identified. 

The company also has more than 375,000 net acres leased in the Delaware Basin of west Texas where exploratory efforts are currently under way.
